While in the Caribbean, we will always start off in the calm coastal river to learn the basics. We’ll go over water safety and the basic paddleboard stances and strokes. Once you have your footing, we will paddle up the river where we will most likely see sloths, monkeys and toucans. Coming back out to the bay we will then paddle around some of the most beautiful reefs that Costa Rica has to offer.
It is also home to the Jaguar Rescue Center rehabilitates wild and Gandoca-Manzanillo National Wildlife Refuge. To the north, Cahuita National Park protects a large coral reef and has a shipwreck dive site.
